My garage door has stopped working 4 times in the last two years. All four times, I had different companies out (due to it being an emergency and just accepting the company that could come out quickest). All of the previous companies kept telling me everything was fine and my motor would work fine for another 10 years. But it kept stopping and leaving me either stuck not being able to get into or out of my garage. The fifth time it broke, recently, I contacted several companies again. 1A Garage Doors responded quickly and, unlike some other companies, didn't question my desire to simply replace my garage door motor. I believe the person that came out was named Daniel. He was on time, finished replacing the motor in half the time he estimated, and gave me some helpful tips about maintaining a working garage door in the future. I believe it was also a fair price, but as I've never had a garage door motor replaced before and didn't really shop around (as someone listening to what I wanted and coming out quickly were my top priorities), I can't be sure about that. The price was communicated prior to booking the service though and the technician double checked it with me before beginning the service, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend using 1A Garage Doors for whatever service you need.

Still amazing service! We've moved to a new house and the cable in one of the openers went out. Both openers were 20 years old and needed to be replaced. Both are back in working order now, with nice smart feature upgrades. We even added a keypad. The technician made sure that all remotes and keypads were working before he left. Great service, super fast response. This is my second time using the service from 1A Garage Doors. We have a broken wood panel and needed to be fixed right away. Vince responded quickly and was able to come check it out the same day. The repair job was done nicely and at a reasonable price. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

From request for service, late on a Friday night, the completion of work was Saturday morning about 12 hours later! Let thank sink in. Our door went off track and needed all new rollers, spring adjustment and the magic touch. I know another company would have recommended a new door. Ours is 25 years old and pretty shabby. But, it now rolls up and down smoothly and is good for maybe another 10 years. (Fingers crossed) Thanks for the quick professional (reasonably priced) service.

We absolutely loved 1A Garage doors. I can't remember the name of the man who came but he was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that didn't make me feel dumb. Great work and they don't try to charge you an arm and a leg. They are upfront and honest.

When our garage door stopped working I called 1A garage doors and Vince came within a couple of hours. Even though our system was pretty old he recommended a tuneup instead of the much more expensive replacement. We appreciated that. He thought we might get another couple of years out of it. Very pleasant and showed good expertise with his work. We will call them again for any other issues.

I wish I could give more than 5 Stars! I called them this morning because my door was getting worse and worse. Andrey was out here 2 hours later, and an hour after that I had a completely new motor and belt assembly! Unbelievable! And cheaper than I expected.

Cable disconnected, I was not prepared to deal with high tension spring, garage door not conveniently usable, I need to charge my car daily inside. Called in the morning, they arrived same day, earlier than they anticipated and had me fixed in no time at all. Explained it all, fair price. We are thrilled with the 1A Garage Door experience . The door broke a day before Christmas on a Saturday afternoon . I called the number and the person that answered was delightful . He offered us a repair time in a few hours . To our surprise the technician came on time and was a lovely person . He offered us 3 options on how we would like to proceed. He went on to replace the broken parts and others that needed to updated .Dan deserves a shout out for his expertise and professionalism. Great great experience!!

I canned 1A for a garage door spring replacement. They had a same day appointment with a 2 hour window which was nice since most companies have a 4 hour window. Vince arrived on time and was professional and quick with assessing the situation and his quote. Quote was best price of the three I received and service was quick. I will go to 1A for any future garage door needs/repairs. Also love the 3yr parts warranty + 1yr on labor.

I communicated over a year ago and Victor gave me a quote through messaging with a good ballpark number. Fast forward this week, and I met with Andres who was punctual and personable. I initially asked for a complete garage replacement, not having any clue about costs let alone garages. Andres could have easily told me everything needed to be replaced and charge me full price. Yet he was honest and told me my garage door and spring were still in good shape and did not need to be replaced. I could have and would have paid like a sucker if he told me otherwise! He ended up replacing our 30 year old motor, key pad, sensors and remotes. All for a third of the price quoted! This was a pleasant surprise. I commend Andre and this company for their honest and quick, efficient work! Andres completed the whole project by himself within two hours! Totally exceeded my expectations which is why I'm compelled to spread the gospel! Have not had customer service this excellent that is worth noting so I wanted to give them a review which is well deserved!

My garage door would not go up this afternoon . 1A Garage came to the rescue. They arrived on time, before 4pm & replaced the strut that was split (due to wear and tear) within 45 minutes. I was impressed. Happy Customer. I would give you 10 stars if I could. I will recommend.

Transaction couldn't have gone any smoother! Got a call in for an evaluation at 2pm, they came out within 2 hours as agreed, and got my garage door fixed all in the same day! Very knowledgeable and very fast!!! Mechanic also helped me out with my motorcycle when he saw I was working on it. I didn't bother shopping for a better price; price for the quality of work and the speed was quite fair.

Contacted a few businesses based on Yelp reviews around 10PM to replace my broken spring and upgrade my motor to a new one. Vince responded promptly that night and got me an appointment the next morning with Andrey. Andrey came within the timeframe they provided and was friendly and clearly an expert in his field. 5 star rating for these folks!! Discovered our garage door would not open at 9:45am. Was referred to 1A Garage Doors and called them at 10:15am. Daniel arrived at 2:00pm to fix what turned out to be a broken spring. The door was up and running by 2:35pm the same day!! Not with just one new spring, but TWO new springs. Awesome!!

This is the second time I've used 1A Garage Doors and I highly recommend them. The first time I called I was sure I was going to need something replaced but all that was needed was some trivial maintenance. This impressed me and led me to reach out again years later when my door spring broke. Even though it was late on Saturday he was able to come by and replace the spring and fix some other issues first thing Monday morning. In both cases everything was explained in plain terms, he made sure I understood the options and completed the work quickly. I will definitely be using 1A for any future garage door needs.

My garage door spring broke. I left a message for 1A Garage Doors at 11pm. By the next morning the company owner (Vince) showed up in a company wrapped truck and logoed shirt making it easy to know who had arrived. Vince replaced my broken spring with a much longer one with a 30% higher cycle rating. He also helped program my built in car transmitter while he was there. Professional, prompt, and courteous. Great friendly service at a reasonable price. My garage opener had seen its better days (20 years old) and stopped working. I called 1A after seeing the great reviews on Nextdoor. My call was promptly answered by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff member who actually had someone come out to install the new opener the same day. I paid the agreed price that was quoted out-the-door over the phone with no additional add-ons. The picture of the free phone app that comes with it shows how easy it is to control the open and close with livestream video. Additionally, I placed a claim with my home warranty company, and I needed some follow-up stuff from 1A which the technician quickly got to me for help with a reimbursement from my home warranty company.

We called 1A Garage Doors in the morning and Vince arrived three hours later to replace a broken spring on our double door garage. He was fast and professional and replaced the spring. He then lubricated the hinges and our other doors spring and hinges as well. Vince was very professional and friendly. I felt the price was very reasonable and I highly recommend Vince and 1A!!!

Garage door decided to breakdown on me last week. My family had recommended 1A Garage Doors. Called Friday around 4ish to see if I could get someone to come out and take a look at the door. Was able to get an appointment for Monday (today) with a time frame 12-2 pm. The lady who answered the phone informed me there is a $45 consultation fee but that would go towards the price if I choose to get the job done the same day. Today, the gentlemen arrived an hour early. I'm totally fine with it. I was worried it might be raining and windy when they arrive but thankfully it was dried. Explained to them what happened and the concerns about the hinges falling off after I parked and closed the garage door. The holes were totally stripped after so there was no way for me to screw them back on. The wire rope decided to come off the rail when we had to manually opened the door to take out my car. Vince was able to give me a walk through of what needed to be done with a price quote. Once I agreed they got started right away. They replaced the springs, put the wire back, installed brackets to hold up the hinges so it would open properly. Half way through Vince showed and informed me that the door have cave in making it difficult to open and closed so he'll need to install a medal bracket across to help even it out and support the door. They completed the job in two hours. Both Vince and his partner were nice, respectful and professional. I had nothing but good experiences starting from the phone call to set the appointment until the job was completed. Would totally recommend them if you're in need of the service.
